About this course?

This is Module 1 of ATEB’s online Supervisory Training Couse. This module looks at the Training & Competence rules and requirements.

There are 3 other modules to complete, covering  Assessment Skills (M2), Coaching (M3) and Monitoring (M4).

In this module, we will look at Training & Competence in the context of firm’s overall governance regime, provide a brief overview of the FCA Handbook, and examine the key parts of the T&C Sourcebook.

Is this course free?

No, the cost is £75 plus VAT for each of the four modules unless you have been provided with a Voucher Code separately by ATEB. To purchase the course click on the Enrol button. This purchase will grant you access to the course for ONE year.

How to complete the module?

1. Download the accompanying Workbook from the Resources tab above. The workbook is also available from within the lesson, in the Exercise Files section that appears below the video. Use this to take notes as you progress through the module.
2. Click on the Start Course to the right to watch the video. You can pause and rewind as necessary.
3. When you’ve completed the video and reviewed the workbook, click on the test to check your knowledge.
4. When you have passed the test (you can have more than one attempt) download the CPD Certificate.

What will I learn?

Following this session, supervisors will have a satisfactory level of T&C knowledge enabling them to understand more fully the key regulatory requirements relevant to their role as financial services supervisors.
